On a number of occasions members have mentioned gold or brass touch-up pens but I can't find a reference to them despite searching for some time. I'm wanting to touch-up the edges of some loco number plates.

Interesting, is it really 18k gold, or just a very good approximation of the color?

Greg

I don't think its is 18 carat gold but the price charge you would think so ;)
The copper one is fairly good as well.
The wife gets them from scrapbooking and card making suppliers which is all the rage in Aust at the moment.

Precision paints have metallic brass and copper. It just needs a fine brush to touch up.

Currently, I am looking for red and white paint pens for lining but so far all I can source are inks which are not much use on a dark background. They just don’t have enough pigment plus, most are not waterproof.
