Enjoyed the review. What power unit did you opt for in the end after abandoning the Deluxe chassis?

Hi Rik,

I emailed IP Engineering asking for their help with this as I have found the motor is getting very hot and actually smelt of burning as it drove past. I recalled I removed a power unit from an old aristocract shunter engine a number of years ago and I have used that without problems.

I used the mech from a Hartland Mack for mine; works fine although (like Macks themselves) is is a bit noisy. Required a bit of bodging to make it fit, but if I can anybody can.
