Some of you may have come across Rob from Little Wicket Railway. He recently came into possession of some G Scale and has done a fantastic series of videos on our gauge. In particular, I thought it worth posting his guide for converting this Stainz as it is a good example of what is required for some of the older split blocks.

Rob has done a really superb description here, only thing he missed was a warning to not loose the 2 ball thrust bearings when he finally split the chassis. Rather like the small saw attachment he was using at around 14.15, any ideas what its make is please? Oh yes and the ‘cow catcher thing’ is a snow polough!
