Ordered the decals. As soon as they arrive I will apply them, weather it and post final pics before I install the decoder.

That's REALLY nice, gives a very well-balanced-looking and attractive loco!

Have you previously posted anything about the other one behind it (in the third and fourth pics, on the test rollers?), if so any chance of a link to it?

It started out as a blue lake george and boulder. Some times you can find them really cheap. Just what you need just in case the bash goes south on you. LOL. I did not have a previous post of the one behind it but I'm sure I can dig up a few photos to share. Thanks to all for the compliments.

These are the only shots I could find of this one. I did this one about a year ago.

Great looking locos Mr McGee.
You have captured the Germanic narrow gauge look perfectly.

Great looking bash, much more life-like than the Lake George and Boulder locomotive I have. Perhaps one day the dreaded blade will be wielded on it.:giggle::clap::clap:

You can't notice it from the angle the photos are shot but the tenders are made wider to match the width of the cab. It always bugged me that they were narrower.

Any in-progress (ie: unpainted) pics of the tender-widening on either loco? Would be interesting to see where and how you've gone about adding the extra width....?

Sorry to say this is the only one I have.
Basically I cut it down the middle and add about 10mm of plastic. I leave the frame as is. On this photo you can see the cut lines as it is before the white squadron putty.

Finally got around to applying the decals. I will clearcoat them in the morning after they are dry.

After I clearcoat them I will install the decoder and speaker.

Excellent work. Makes it look quite different to the original.
Who is Stan - shall we add him to our 'Links' records?

'Stan' may well be Stan Cedarleaf of ?Arizona, who operates a bespoke decals business - and who is excellent. I've used his services on a number of occasions.
