The start of another year. The same locomotives and rolling stock ran on both the first and second day of the year.

As usual, great photos of a great railway. My wife and I are hoping that this year will be the year we can accomplish our goal of our trip to England. We are going to visit Ian Thompson, Coggs railway. I'd love to see the CFR in person and of course meet you. Early Autumn will see our arrival in the UK. Are you anywhere near Oxford ?

Just checked the map. Looks like you are a good distance from Oxford. If we do our side trip to Scotland, it may be a possibility to stop off and see you. Again, only with your permission.

Dan, the CFR is open to the public each weekend throughout the year. I also open it at holiday times and by private arrangement. You will be more than welcome to visit.

Sunday 3rd January. It's wet, windy and cold. However it doesn't stop us from running trains.

That little bit of Track and the Building behind gave the game away. The CFR is actually somewhere on the Great Central (Heritage) Railway. I visited it during Model Railway Show on the GC this Year. Wish I could remember the GC Station name though.
