Great videos, although makes me envious of you fellas that run at ground level:envy::envy::envy::envy:,the slope in my garden makes that impossible, hey ho,but saying that I do hope to get some groundworks done where I can in the spring but where I am 3FT in the air in places it just can`t be done and if I extended the trackwork on the level to the house I COULD WALK UNDER IT!!!!
On the plus side, it sounds like you have scope for a realistic rack and pinion line :)

A short video I took this morning. I just got the little Daisy loco yesterday. It seems to run good. And my rs3 that I have only ran one other time. My railroad doesn't have a name yet. And is still under construction but I can run a couple trains finally.
Nicely done. I love the trestle viaduct and the disused siding with a few boxcars in it.

Here is a video from 4 years ago - all the shrubs have grown since then.

Mike,
What is the area of the layout?
Hi GAP. Sorry it's taken a while to respond. Work and the fact that I'd never actually measured it meant I couldn't check until today. The plot is trapezoidal (I think that's the word) which used to be our fruit and vegetable garden until the children moved out. Became surplus to requirements and the planning authorities (SWMBO) offered it to me.HVR plan.jpg HVR plan 2.jpg

Thank you for the track plan.
I've been trying to plan a layout to fit into a shed 6Mx4.5M with sidings might just clone a few bits of yours, or I might even be able to shoehorn most of it into the area.
