I’m new to this forum and new to G scale railroading. I recently was given an older starter set LGB #25401. I also purchased a used motorized Tender LGB #69272. However, it does not have the User Manual.

I looking for information to properly set the 4 Dip Switches in the Tender. I’m running the train analog. I’ve searched the internet for a user manual, but can only find a service manual that does not provide the detail I need.

Any help with the settings and a copy of the user manual would be helpful.

Thanks

Jim

Hi Jim, welcome to the forum!
Try this: it may not be the exact same model as your tender, but the operating instructions should be basically the same:
http://www.champex-linden.de/lgb_pr...0467cf6/a30105106c226c5ac12568ee003776f4.html

The operating manual is the top one of the four PDF download links listed on that page. The manual itself is in English as well as German and French.

If I'm thinking of the right model of electronics board in the tender, there should be a bank of 4 DIP switches that should all be ON in analogue mode; you only need to switch them OFF if you're plugging a DCC decoder directly onto the main board.
There may also be another set of just two DIP switches, the function of which is described in the manual.

This is the link to the main Champex Linden LGB databank, which is an invaluable resource for manuals, service diagrams and much more... all products with 5-digit item numbers are listed in numerical order:
