BREAKING NEWS

Had an email from Wijnand. He moved house and had to give up G Scale, but he still has a couple of locos and some other bits & bobs. So you never know, we might see him back here again.

And

I've brought the TEE set....

My Tee set is also a seven car unit and it makes it look an impressive length when running. All coaches and power cars are lit by self- adhesive copper strips/tape with leds soldered to them (about £1.50 per coach). I've painted the interiors to match the original colour schemes of the Tees and added passengers. The so-called restaurant car has had its interior compartments removed and I've modeled a dining car with tables, table lights, a hidden kitchen and diners. The set is analog controlled and has Phoenix Sound with a speaker in each power car. The sound is for a Tee - one chap who saw it running at a show said that it sounded exactly right as he regularly rode the real thing when he lived in Germany for many years. My grateful thanks to my good friend Neil Robinson for installing the lights and sound.

You know what the next requirement is Gizzy, pictures on your line and even a visit to the DR will be welcome! Sure you would love to see it stretch its legs on a fully 4ft Rad line!

Hi, I too have this set it is beautiful and good value. I also purchased extra coaches. This is a beast in length and it needs the bigger radius bends too. I also purchased kitchen sponges to make the inter car bellows so these are now looking neat and fully made up. I opted for the sponges with finger ridges so you get that in-out shape. Sound units are nice needs long runs to show off its size and elegant shape.:mask:

'The beast' very, very nice pull the coaches apart you can play with the lights all or some or even people inside. Enjoy. Will we ever get two long sets running together?????

I took an end of one of the coaches yesterday, as part of one side had sprung out. I managed to spring it back in without any damage, but if you have any info about getting inside these coaches to put in passengers, then I'd be grateful for the info.

As for getting 2 sets running together, the dummy couplings would have to be changed for either hook and loops or maybe the coupling used to connect all the vehicles together....
